At Shreeram Hospital, we aim to provide reliable and transparent health services to all our patients. This Refund & Return Policy explains the conditions under which refunds may be granted for online bookings, health packages, diagnostic services, or other medical services.
Since we offer healthcare services and not physical products, the term “Return” applies only to service cancellations, not physical goods.
1. Eligibility for Refund
A refund may be issued only under the following valid conditions:
a. Hospital-Initiated Cancellation
A full refund will be provided if:
- The doctor is unavailable
- The hospital cancels/reschedules the appointment for any operational reason
- A technical issue prevents service delivery
b. Duplicate Payment
If the patient accidentally makes two payments for the same service, the duplicate payment will be refunded.
c. Service Not Provided
If a service (e.g., test, check-up, consultation) is not provided due to a hospital issue, the patient is eligible for a refund.
2. Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds will not be issued if:
- You miss your appointment or arrive late
- You provide incorrect or incomplete information
- You cancel the booking after the service has started
- You do not follow pre-test or pre-consultation instructions
- You request a refund without valid medical or technical reasons
Once services are delivered, payments are non-refundable.
3. Refund for Health Packages
Health packages or full-body checkups are refundable only when:
- The package has not been availed
- No test or component has been used
- Cancellation request is placed within 24 hours of booking
- Refund approval is granted by the hospital administration
If any part of the package is used, refunds are calculated after deducting the cost of used tests/services.
4. Mode of Refund
Approved refunds will be issued through:
- Bank transfer
- Original mode of payment
- UPI or card reversal (if applicable)
Refund Time
Refunds may take 7–14 working days depending on the bank/payment gateway.
5. Appointment Rescheduling
Instead of a refund, you may choose to reschedule your appointment, subject to availability.
Rescheduling is free of cost if done in advance.
6. No Return of Medical Reports
Medical reports, prescriptions, or diagnostic results:
- Cannot be returned
- Cannot be deleted once generated
- Remain part of hospital medical records
However, copies may be requested as per the hospital’s policies.
